Terroir and Vintage Driven

Annulus wines are deliberate expressions of time and place. Winemaker Nigel Kinsman begins the work of translating the vintage while the grapes are still hanging on the vine, working with our grower partners to bring forth the best of what each of our heritage sites has to offer in any given season.  He takes a light-handed approach in the cellar, crafting classically structured wines that will stand the test of time and support longevity in the cellar.

Nuanced Blends

Nigel has collaborated with Michel Rolland for decades; together, the two make magic happen. To Annulus, Michel brings an international perspective and a masterful ability to synthesize final blends, carefully tasting through each lot and helping weave together a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. 

Wheeler Farms

Annulus wines are made at green-certified Wheeler Farms, a state-of-the-art facility in St. Helena.

The Wines

We are proud to introduce a singular collection of wines. The foremost offerings are a pair of vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignons hailing from two of Napa Valley’s most prized sites, Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard and Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard. Annulus also bottles a proprietary Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. With just 700 cases produced in total, the wines are available in limited quantities.
